Birnbrey is actively searching for speculative value-add net lease opportunities throughout the United States with an emphasis on the Southeast and Southwest regions. Target investments include second generation single and multi tenant outparcel buildings with vacancy, maturing lease(s), speculative credit, and/or deferred maintenance.
Jon is the Founder and Managing Principal of Birnbrey Real Estate, bringing nearly 20 years of experience across both the brokerage and principal sides of the industry. His career is defined by a deep-rooted commitment to relationships and creative problem-solving.
Prior to founding his own firm and co-founding Rockbrook Equity, Jon was a partner at The Shopping Center Group. There, he led growth strategies and site selection for major national brands, including Chase Bank, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Ross Dress for Less, Chipotle, and Panda Express.
Beyond his professional work, Jon is a dedicated advocate for community and social impact. He serves on the boards of the Jewish National Fund, The Friendship Circle, and Families of Conviction, with a specific focus on criminal justice reform and supporting inner-city families. A passionate mentor, Jon also spends significant time guiding and supporting youth.
An Atlanta native and University of Texas at Austin alumnus, Jon now lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife and three children.
Cole partnered with Jon and co-founded Rockbrook Equity in 2019. He previously served in Director Level roles at NAI Robert Lynn and WeWork. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies/Real Estate Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and nearly a decade of industry experience.
Logan is an accomplished Real Estate Developer with over ten years of experience and a demonstrated record of achievement in development, acquisitions, and management. Before joining Birnbrey Real Estate, Logan served as Regional Development Director at WMG Development and spent nearly five years as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Dimension Development Partners, LLC—a leading full-service commercial developer. In these positions, Logan played a crucial role in facilitating growth by utilizing strong analytical and research abilities to identify and secure high-value properties and efficiently manage complex real estate investment operations. Earlier, Logan built foundational expertise as a Real Estate Manager at Hutton.
Prior to entering the real estate sector, Logan served in the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, where he successfully completed Infantry School, Airborne School, the Ranger Indoctrination Program, and Ranger School. Logan served as a Team Leader in the 3rd Ranger Battalion, deploying four times to the Middle East during his four and a half years of service.
Logan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Outside of professional responsibilities, Logan prioritizes family life, spending quality time with his four children. The family enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as hiking, and when possible, Logan can be found on the golf course, striving to see how many golf balls he can lose.
